Welcome to the 22nd edition of San Silvestre Model United Nations. Representing the entirety of the staff, secretariat and faculty, we are overjoyed to bring this well-known conference to life this September, 2025!

This activity has grown exponentially in high schools in Lima, which has always been a strong international base for Model UN, and San Silvestre has adjusted itself accordingly to serve the growing influx of delegates. SSMUN is a long-standing conference, and just like in our past years, we strive to greet you all with excellence, dedication, diplomacy, and cooperation.

Uniquely in San Silvestre is the MUN Extracurricular run entirely by the school's own students, who prove their talents over and over in the ways that they show up for their delegation. The Secretariat, motivated by the passion they have for the world of diplomacy and justice, have worked tirelessly to bring to you a bright event in which everyone can bask in the atmosphere of debate and teamwork.

With an ever-changing socioeconomic and political landscape, politics and news either run free and wild or are held down and caged; therefore our SSMUN team is dedicated to guarantee a flexible committee flow, providing news that will not only maintain delegates alert, but allow them to adapt gand overcome daunting situations and thrive within their committees. The SSMUN 2025 team hopes all students participating learn from their chairs, fellow delegates, and their very own mistakes, proving this year's conference as successful as every edition before, providing the opportunity to flourish to all.
